ZAMBİA
Zambia, officially the Republic of Zambia, is a landlocked country in the southern portion of the Continent of Africa. Before gaining its independence with the name Zambia, the country was a British colony with the name of Northern Rhodesia until 1924 and after this, it fell under the auspices of the United Kingdom. The country borders Angola, DR Congo, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Namibia, and Botswana. The country took its name from the Zambezi river. Zambia gained its independence from the United Kingdom on 24 October 1964. The capital city of the country is Lusaka.
