NAMIBIA
Namibia, or officially the Republic of Namibia and formerly South West Africa, is a country in southern Africa with a border with the Atlantic Ocean in the west. It shares its borders with Zambia and Angola in the north, Botswana in the east, and the Republic of South Africa in the south and east. Although it has no border on Zimbabwe, less than 200 meters of the Zambezi River separates the two countries at their nearest point. Its capital and largest city are Windhoek. Namibia is a member state of the United Nations (UN), the Southern African Development Community (SADC), the African Union (AU), and the Commonwealth of Nations.
The estimated population of Namibia was 2.746.745 in 2018.
Its official language is English.
