CONGO
The Republic of Congo is a country located in the midwestern portion of the Continent of Africa. The neighbors of the country, which was also called Congo-Brazzaville and continued its existence as the People's Republic of Congo between 1969 and 1991, are Cameroon, Central African Republic, DR Congo, Cabinda region, which is connected to Angola but not physically connected to the mainland, Gabon and the Atlantic Ocean (moving clockwise from the north). The capital city of the country is Brazzaville.
According to the 2013 population estimates, 4.492.689 people live in the country.
Its official language is French.
